Sales Representative – Exterior Remodeling Consultant

We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our sales team in retail sales and insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be passionate and excited about sales and helping homeowners find solutions to their roofing, siding, and gutter issues, and be a team player but be able to work individually day-to-day.

Job Responsibilities
– Meet with homeowners to examine damage on property and sell roofing, siding, and gutter products and services
– Listen to homeowner’s wants and needs to create a detailed, thorough estimate
– Assist homeowners with the insurance claim process
– Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
– Work closely with production managers, crews, and office staff to ensure the success of every job, every step of the way
– Create, plan, and deliver estimates and reports on company services and products
– Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
– Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
– Learn and be able to articulate features of products we use to highlight how they solve customer problems
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

– Prior experience in sales (industry experience helpful but not required, willing to train the right candidate even without experience)
– Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
– Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
– Meet and/or exceed quotas
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
– Familiar with using various digital tools and applications
– Highly self-motivated
– Valid driver’s license
– Reliable transportation
– A flexible schedule
– Experience in the home improvement industry, especially roofing, siding, gutters, and storm restoration, is helpful but not required.

– Average salesperson salary equates to $80-150k/yr but fluctuates with commission and is not the minimum or limit that can be earned
